Condition of the Binding:


The binding has a wonderful large full colour illustration from the Aesop’s Fable Tortoise and the Hare; with the back board bearing an advertisement for Ovaltine; and the spine with the title “Aesop’s Fables” in large blue letters.


The original binding is in Good + condition being complete but with edge wear, knocks to the corners, ager toning and small pen marks to the back board, bumps to the top and bottom of the spine, and small loss of surface paper to the top of the spine.  However, the binding is sound and still very attractive. Condition of the Pages:


The pages are thick, unpaginated, browned and has a number of very neat (overall) colouring in to some of the pages, with some of the colour illustrations partially detached from the book, but still bound-in. Please see the 'Enlarged Images'. below
