Bob Hope (1903 – 2003) was born Leslie Townes Hope in Eltham, London. Bob Hope made his first film appearance in ‘The Big Broadcast of 1938’ in which he sang “Thanks For The Memory”, which became his signature tune for the rest of his life. Bob Hope is best known for his partnership with Bing Crosby in the “Road To…” films.
