This Leslie Charteris typed letter signed, the author of The Saint books, to Mr Arthur Knight, offering him a very frank critique of Mr Knight’s attempt at writing a novel entitled “Blades of Death”. The letter is on “Molly’s Paradise Hotel – Motel” letter headed paper and is dated 26 September 1956. This two-page letter concludes by giving advice to a young Mr Knight on the subject of a future mystery novel and how Leslie Charteris himself wrote bad stories when he started out.

Clearly, Leslie Charteris cared greatly for this young aspiring author.

The recipient of this Leslie Charteris autographed typed letter signed is Mr Arthur Knight who seems to have struck up a friendship with Leslie Charteris and there are a number of signed pieces from Leslie Charteris to Arthur Knight for sale from The First Edition.

This is a very collectable Leslie Charteris typed letter signed from one of the twentieth century’s most famous crime authors for his series of The Saint books, that were also made famous in the TV series starring Roger Moore.
