Shepard illustrations, one of Winnie the Pooh and the other of Christopher Robin. The boards arebinding is in Very Good + condition with slight knocking to the top and bottom of the spine. The publisher’s illustrated label is in Fine condition.
The A.A. Milne More Very Young Songs has 40 numbered pages that contain A.A. Milne Winnie the Pooh poems set to music by H. Fraser Simson, and numerous black and white E.H. Shepard illustrations of Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and other characters.
The pages are in overall Very Good condition + with light browning to the endpapers, which is usual for these books; and cracks to a few of the internal hinges, although all the pages are firmly bound in.
Additionally this example of A.A. Milne More Very Young Songs song book has an advertisement loosely inserted for The Christopher Robin Calendar 1929 and When We Were Very Young Notepaper. Since this is the first edition of A.A. Milne’s More Very Young Songs song book from 1928 it is believed that this advertisement is contemporary with the book.
